Studies

The Philosopher’s Workshop offers an updated bibliography on Roger Bacon and his philosophical and scientific reflection. This section will be updated regularly by the group. Nonetheless, if you would like to point out a new publication directly related to Bacon’s thought, and perhaps share it within this site, we will be glad and pleased to insert it in The Philosopher’s Workshop. Any bibliography on Roger Bacon must start from some pivotal contributions, beginning with the old but still valuable volume A.G. Little. At the very same time, at least three further studies are crucial: the introduction to Bacon’s thought by Alessio, and the bibliographical collections by Alessio, and Hackett and Maloney.
